Ronald Cummings and Misty Croslin were finally arrested on drug charges last night.

Ronald Cummings has been arrested a bakers dozen times on drug and assault charges. The charges have been dropped every time before this.

I believe he’s been allowed to run amuck in Putnam County Florida because his mother works as a dispatcher at the police station. I don’t think mama can get him out of this one.

PUTNAM COUNTY — The father and ex-stepmother of Haleigh Cummings have been arrested on drug charges.

Ronald Cummings, his ex-wife Misty Croslin and her brother Hank “Tommy ” Croslin, Jr. were arrested Wednesday on multiple drug trafficking charges following a month-long investigation.

Deputies said the three allegedly sold Oxycodone and Hydrocodone to undercover agents.

Hope Sykes and Orlando resident Donna Broch were also arrested.

If convicted, Cummings, Misty Croslin and Brock could face a mandatory 25-year sentence. The other suspects could face 3 to 15 years.

Cummings and his ex-wife have been in the media spotlight since 2009 after Cummings’ daughter Haleigh vanished from her home in Satsuma.

Misty Croslin was the last person to see the now 6-year-old alive and is under suspicion after failing lie detector tests.

Hank Croslin Sr., 41, father of Misty Croslin was arrested last week and accused of doctor shopping.

It just doesn’t end with these Croslin folks. Misty’s brother, mother and now her father have all been arrested since Haleigh’s disappearance on February 10, 2009.

Hank Croslin Sr. is being charged for withholding information from a practitioner and has been booked into the Putnam County Jail.

It is being reported that Croslin Sr. got approximately 300 Oxycontin and Hydrocodone pills from three different doctors between April and May 2009.

The practice is known as doctor shopping which is considered a third-degree felony. His bail has been set for $7500. This happens hundreds of times a day among the drug addict types but with the spotlight on this family the cops are not letting nothing slip by them.

To bad they don’t have a family member in the police department like ex-hubby Ron Cummings to get these things overlooked.

Nashville police and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents arrested Lisa Croslin on a fugitive-from-justice warrant on Thursday. She was wanted by Florida authorities on forgery and theft charges.

Croslin is the mother of Misty Croslin, who police say was the last person to see Haleigh Cummings, now 6, when she disappeared Feb. 10 from a mobile home in Putnam County, Fla.

At the time of the disappearance, Misty Croslin was the girlfriend of Cummings’ father. They married about a month after Haleigh’s disappearance.

The Gainesville Sun reported Saturday that authorities in Putnam County are looking for a woman who dropped off a letter at the sheriff’s office that allegedly has information about Haleigh.

Authorities would not reveal the letter’s contents but said it could be “very helpful.”

Lisa Croslin’s arrest is not related to her granddaughter being missing but it is showing a pattern of criminal behavior from many member’s of the family. I’m sure you remember Tommy Croslin, Misty’s brother, being arrested a couple of weeks ago.

According to the Sheriff’s Dept., Marvin Martin, told deputies that he wanted to file charges against Hank Jr. (Tommy) for stealing his .38 caliber Colt revolver.

Tommy and his mother had come into his house to use the phone and Tommy went to the bathroom while his mom called someone. Later, Mr. Martin, who is elderly and legally blind, found the gun missing and knew they must have had something to do with it. The victim called Tommy’s sister-in-law and told her he knew either Tommy or his mom took his gun and he wanted it back or he would involve the police.

A few hours later, Tommy’s mother and dad brought the gun to him. His mother said that he stole it and hid it in the shed behind his house. Mr. Martin said he wasn’t really sure whether it was Tommy or his mother that did it, but he suspected it was Hank.

Sounds familiar doesn’t it? Tommy had stolen Ronald’s gun on or about the night Haleigh went missing and hid it in a culvert.

Ronald Cummings has been arrested over a dozen times with the charges being dropped almost every time. Most likely the fact that his mother works for the police department has something to do with that.

Lots of criminals in little Haleigh’s life, seems it was only a matter of time before something like this happened. She never had a chance.

A private investigator and bondsman related to the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings was arrested and charged with false imprisonment Friday.

William Eugene Staubs, 51, of Weston, Fla., is accused of taking Daniel Everett Snodgrass, 51, from his Satsuma home against his will on March 20.

Staubs, also known as “Cobra,” had been working closely with attorney Kim Picazio, who represents Crystal Sheffield, the mother of Haleigh Cummings. Haleigh has been missing since February, and was last seen in her Satsuma home.

Haleigh Cummings, 5, was reported missing on Feb. 11.

It all started when Snodgrass was arrested and charged with sexual battery of a child under 12. Snodgrass filed a complaint saying that Staubs called him out of his home on a loudspeaker with a siren on.

According to a news release, Snodgrass told Detective Ken Taylor that Staubs told Snodgrass he was revoking Snodgrass’ bond, threw Snodgrass to the ground, handcuffed him and forced him into Staubs vehicle. Staubs then reportedly drove away from the residence headed towards Palatka, according to the release. After driving a short distance and making several telephone calls, Staubs reportedly turned around, drove Snodgrass back to his residence and released him, the news release said.

Jail officials said that Snodgrass had been bonded out of jail when the incident occurred.

Staubs is being held on $5,004 bond at the Putnam County Jail.

We have an accounting of the criminal records of both Haleigh’s biological parents: Ronald Cummings and Crystal Sheffield.

June 25, 2007 – providing false information regarding a crime – prosecution deferred and

July 2008 – traffic violation for driving while her license was suspended.

Sheffield complied with the terms of her deferment.
