The police have announced that Haleigh is dead, and are searching the river for evidence. Multiple persons of interest identified.

Misty Croslin’s grandmother appeared on Nancy Grace saying that Timmy Croslin had called her from jail and said he was in the Cummings home with Misty and Joe Overstreet the night Haleigh went missing. The grandmother also said that Joe had went there to steal a gun and when Misty couldn’t find it he took Haleigh instead.

Apparently Misty confirmed this story fifteen minutes later in a similar conversation with her grandmother. Misty has reportedly said that Joe Overstreet had held a knife to her throat and told her he would kill her if she ever told and she was frightened.

Rumors are spreading that Joe killed Haleigh and tied cinder blocks to her body and threw her in a river near Misty’s parents former home.

This entire story is suspect because Misty has already named Joe over a year ago as someone that might be involved because “he has been a criminal all his life.”

Flora Hollars laid out multiple versions she says Misty and Tommy Croslin gave her about the night Haleigh vanished, all of them ending in the little girl’s brutal death. One of them, that a yellow rope was put around Haleigh’s body, a brick tied around the bottom of the other end of the rope and Haleigh thrown into the river.

After we see Misty Croslin on video in handcuffs standing on the dock of the Saint Johns river, investigators reveal Misty Croslin went to the river voluntarily. But what exactly did she tell police? We also learn she’s not the only one who was at the river with cops. Tommy Croslin’s attorney says he was the one who brought investigators to the St. Johns River in the first place, the same spot where unnamed sources say dive teams have been searching for a murder weapon.

We know cops have pulled “items” from the river for testing, but are Haleigh’s remains among them? And are multiple arrests about to go down.

This might very well be the way the crime went down but Misty’s justification that she was scared and didn’t tell is ridiculous. That defense only works to the point that Joe left the home. Was she to scared to tell when she being questioned by the police for countless hours? Did she believe Joe would burst into the police station at any minute and kill her? Would he break into jail where she is currently incarcerated on drug charges and kill her?

The “scared of Joe” defense is likely only a justification to absolve herself and her brother Timmy from any wrong doing in the murder of Haleigh Cummings. They all kept their mouths shut for the past 14 months because the were likely all involved in some way. IMO.

Misty Croslin has reportedly written a letter telling what happened to Haleigh

Several sources are reporting that Misty Croslin wrote a letter to a family member revealing what she knows about the night Haleigh Cummings disappeared. The letter is being examined by authorities in Satsuma, Florida for its authenticity and validity.

Will this new evidence finally lead investigators to Haleigh?

Remember when the story broke that Tommy came by and stole a gun? Well now the story seems to be that Tim and Joe, Misty’s cousin, came by to steal the gun but it wasn’t there. Joe got pissed and took Haleigh.

It has also been reported that Misty Croslin’s attorney has known what Misty has been hiding since she was arrested on drug trafficing charges when she sold prescription pain killers oxycodone and oxycoton to an undercover officer.

This is not verified but its being passed around by Art Harris, a freelance reporter that has been covering this case.

Six little words blended in to five but maybe the first crack in Misty’s armor. Such a simple sentence but an unbelievably explosive statement.

Newly released jailhouse tapes gives us some insight into what Misty Croslin, the last person to see 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings alive, knows about the night the little girl disappeared.

Misty Croslin is speaking to her sister-in-law Chelsea, she knows she is being recorded so she doesn’t say much. She is speaking of a bounty hunter who has offered to bail her out in exchange for information that will lead him to Haleigh.

Here is what she said:

Sister-in-law: So what, you have things you need to talk to him about?
Misty Croslin: Well yeah, I mean, it’s you know, hard to talk.
Sister-in-law: I know.
Misty Croslin: Yeah. But it’s gonna hurt two people. It’s gonna hurt two people.
Sister-in-law: That we care about?
Misty Croslin: Kinda. One, yeah. And the other, kinda.
Sister-in-law: That I care about?
Misty Croslin: Yeah.
Sister-in-law: Cause I know I don’t give a f**k about Ronald, excuse my language.
Misty Croslin: No, No. No it’s somebody. Yeah, no.
Sister-in-law: It’s not him?
Misty Croslin: No, you just think Chelsea, use your head. And you’ll know.

I believe Misty Croslin is protecting her brother Tommy Croslin. I have always thought it was pretty obvious that one of these “two people” is Ronald but this gives me some doubts. In the sting video they brought up Haleigh. They had no way of knowing they were being recorded and they spoke like they had no idea what happened to her. I have pretty much ruled out that they acted together at this point.

Tommy left the area immediatley after Haleigh went missing.

Misty Croslin instructs Ronald on how the drug deal should go down.

“You just leave the pills right there and I’ll pick them up when I walk into the bathroom,” Misty says on the tape that was recorded in an undercover cop car.

Ronald Cummings seems extremely worried that if people find out he’s involved with drugs they would assume a connection to the disappearance of his daughter Haleigh. I guess he thought he could just get off like all the times before, because he never mentions being worried about anything else. Seems he worries way too much about how he is perceived.

“Please don’t ever tell no one that I did this shit,” he said. “People would go to assuming that I was a dope boy or pissed someone off. Dope boys don’t come and get your kids like that.”

This week, both Cummings and Croslin plead not guilty to drug charges and are sitting in jail hoping someone will raise their bonds.

In my opinion: Ronald Cummings is a child molestor that preys on underage girls and uses the drugs as bait, you might say jailbait. He has the drugs, they stay for the drugs.

Ronald Cummings has been arrested a bakers dozen times on drug and assault charges. The charges have been dropped every time before this.

I believe he’s been allowed to run amuck in Putnam County Florida because his mother works as a dispatcher at the police station. I don’t think mama can get him out of this one.

PUTNAM COUNTY — The father and ex-stepmother of Haleigh Cummings have been arrested on drug charges.

Ronald Cummings, his ex-wife Misty Croslin and her brother Hank “Tommy ” Croslin, Jr. were arrested Wednesday on multiple drug trafficking charges following a month-long investigation.

Deputies said the three allegedly sold Oxycodone and Hydrocodone to undercover agents.

Hope Sykes and Orlando resident Donna Broch were also arrested.

If convicted, Cummings, Misty Croslin and Brock could face a mandatory 25-year sentence. The other suspects could face 3 to 15 years.

Cummings and his ex-wife have been in the media spotlight since 2009 after Cummings’ daughter Haleigh vanished from her home in Satsuma.

Misty Croslin was the last person to see the now 6-year-old alive and is under suspicion after failing lie detector tests.

Action News spoke with the Deputy from the Lake Mary Police Department who was on scene when the women were cuffed. Officer Zach Hudson says the women were cooperative with investigators during the questioning. He says when Misty was put on the ground and cuffed, she looked up at the officer and said, Im Misty Cummings, you might know me.

Officer Hudson says there was no bravado in Mistys voice, and she wasnt acting as though she thought she needed special attention. He says it sounded as though she just wanted the officers to know she was not a threat.

Mistys lawyer Robert Fields tells Action News he believes the 911 caller made up the entire story. He says during the 911 call, the woman told dispatchers the license plate number of the vehicle they were driving. Fields says if the caller was in front of the suspects car, she would never be able to read off the license plate to dispatchers. He believes the caller initiated the call to 911 to report a false claim to get back at Misty and the driver for an earlier altercation on the road.

Misty Croslin was the passenger and Donna Michelle Brock, previously unknown to the MC blog was driving her to her attorneys office. Donna is 43 and from of Georgia. They were released after questioning by deputies.

The incident occurred at about 11:16 a.m. when Courtney Ballinger, 25, of Madison, Mass., called 911 to report that what appeared to be a handgun was being waved at her by the people in a Dodge Caliber as they drove on various roads. Ballinger reported they were also screaming and making gestures at her.

The deputy explained the situation to Brock, who said there was no gun in the car. Permission was given to search the car, and no gun was found, the report stated.

Donna Brock and Misty Croslin were allowed to leave to continue their effort to earn their white trash street credits.

I think this girl most likely knew who Misty was and made a big deal out of nothing so she could get a gig on nancy grace tonight.

Will she turn up or will she,  just like Haleigh, be added to the missing persons list with no leads and not much chance of ever finding out what happened to her?

I find it quite hard to believe that she left on her own. She’s the dependant type, unless she found someone else to lean on.

Members of Equusearch, the Texas-based search team, are once again searching an area near the home of Ronald Cummings, whose 4-year-old daughter Haleigh Cummings vanished from the family’s trailer in March.

Myfoxorlando is reporting that under hypnosis, Ronald Cumming’s 17-year-old wife Misty Croslin Cummings told searchers to look for Haleigh near a rose left in an undisclosed area in Putnam County.

Based on that tip, Equusearch on Saturday headed back out to Satsuma to search for leads in the case.

My info is from a Steph Watts interview, who recorded the sessions for EquuSearch.

According to several news sources, while Misty was undergoing and completely failing the battery of tests being administered, she made a comment that indicated she may know where to search for Haleigh. She told investigators they needed to double-check a patch of ground marked by a single plastic rose.

“She said there was a place that was not searched very well and that we should look for a red rose, and she gave us the location,” said Steph Watts, who recorded the sessions for EquuSearch.

“We went and we looked, and we found it, and the next day we took Putnam County investigators back there,” Watts said. “I don’t think they are going to dig where the rose is and find the body, but the fact that they went with us shows that they are following up on every lead.” EquuSearch is making plans to return to the area in the near future.
