Caylee Anthony was reported missing to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office (Orlando, Florida, United States) on July 15, 2008, by her grandmother, Cynthia (Cindy) Anthony. Caylee had lived in her grandparents’ home with her mother, Casey Anthony, until June 15, 2008. According to George Anthony, Caylee’s grandfather, Casey Anthony left the family’s home on June 16, 2008, around 1 p.m., taking Caylee, who was almost 3, with her.
Casey Anthony was first arrested on July 16, 2008, for giving false statements, neglect of a child, and obstruction of a criminal investigation with a request that she be held on a no bond status until Caylee Anthony was located. Caylee’s remains were found at that wooded scene. On December 12.
The defense, led by defence attorney Jose Baez, presented its claim that Caylee drowned accidentally in the family’s pool on June 16, 2008, and was found by George Anthony, who then covered up Caylee’s death.

Interesting that MS. Lowe said while on the stand that the only other hairs associated with this case “other than the known Q12 hair found in the trunk” with post mortem banding were the hairs associated with the remains!!
***** This has got to be so obvious to the jurors******CASEY IS GUILTY!!!!
Obviously the hair in the trunk and the hairs on the poor little Caylee’s remains are consistent with each other and they both have apparent post mortem banding and obviously from a post mortem corps!!!
I just wanted to say that I had a very ugly opinion of George and Cindy Anthony before this trial started. I thought they were lying and covering for Casey and I was disgusted by that…..After the trial began, I changed my opinion of them!! When Cindy got on the stand and cried looking at Caylee’s bed, her doll, her playhouse….I broke down and cried with her……Same with George, before trial I thought, “how can he even pretend…being and X-invesigator/cop or whatever” …now I just think both of them (George and Cindy and Lee for that matter) could not wrap their minds around the fact that their own daughter/sister could do such an awful disgusting act to their beloved Caylee…they must have just been in complete denial and trauma going through this. I can’t imagine! I did judge them too soon…..however, my opinion has never changed about CASEY……GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY!!!
