Did Misty and Tommy Kill Haleigh?
Over two years and still no one in the Croslin’s family has came out with the truth about with what happened to the missing five year old Haleigh Cummings. Since Feb. 9, 2009 there have been numerous stories told of the events of that night, but all have been lies. The accusations have been thrown at Misty’s cousin Joe Overstreet, an easy mark with his seedy looks, drug habit, and previous run ins with law enforcement.

Now Misty says she made that up. Chelsea Croslin, who joined in on these accusations, recently apologized and has reunited with Joe.
Tommy Croslin was recorded in the back of a police car instructing Misty to lie to authorities about Haleigh just before these accusations were made. Now they are both serving lengthy sentences for drug crimes, 25 years for Misty, 15 years for Tommy but no one has cracked.
It is my opinion at this point that Misty and/or Tommy Croslin killed Haleigh, either accidentally or on purpose. I have come to this conclusion after considering all other options. I’m not sure if Ronald Cummings knows anything. He was at work during the time of the disappearance, that’s if they have been truthful about the time of the disappearance. His 90 phone calls home is pretty suspicious. After the phone call frenzy, he reportedly asked to work overtime and then then stopped by a convenience store after work.
If he was so worried about Misty or what was going on in his home why did he ask for more hours and then stop anywhere before going home? I believe Ronald married Misty after Haleigh’s disappearance to avoid a statutory rape charge that was more likely to come after the world-wide publicity. Misty was only 15 when she moved into his home, making him at the very least, a pedophile and a drug dealer.
There are no heros here.
Joe has been thoroughly checked out and has not been arrested. Everyone has been scrutinized and no one has been arrested. Facing 25 years, Misty would have turned the real killer in if it was anyone else other than herself or her brother.
These siblings had a rough life and likely feel they were all each other had growing up. I believe Misty would have told the truth long before being sentenced if the truth would not have been worse on her or her brother than a 25 year drug sentence.
Even after they were thrown in jail on the drug charges, they felt that whatever sentence they get for those charges will be less than murder.

I believe the reason Ron called so much was that Misty had just returned home after a week of partying and he was worried that she wasn’t at home. They are ALL definitely not saints. I also believe that Misty will never really tell what happened because it could mean the DP for her and her brother. I wish they would find this baby.
You don’t know anything. Misty was asleep when Haleigh went missing. She told this story from the beginning. After hours of questioning by the police, they made suggestions to her about what could have happened and then told the press whatever they wanted. These lie detector tests are not on the internet. The stress test was a joke. No wonder it’s not allowed in a court of law. The result was a 30 day drug sting that should have been 30 minutes. The police put drugs on the street for a month. If someone on these pain killers hurt a child or someone else, they were collateral damage. This along with hours of questioning is shoddy police work. Anyone who wants to see this young woman, who was raped as a child by a man who got an 8 year sentence, serve another day in jail is spiteful.
It’s nice to know you can be arrested for being asleep at 3 in the morning. I’m sure we could put 20 percent of our college students into jail if we offered them cheap drugs to sell.
I think I’ll become a pig cop so I can talk down to people and frisk guys crotches and accuse parents of murder if there child is abducted.
It is common sense to think that in awe of facing long prison sentences any of these 3 players would have folded,but they haven’t.The police early on should have investigated who in the area might have moved away from the abduction area at the time of haleigh’s disappearance.Maybe check with post office change of address forms etc..It is highly likely that the girl was indeed abducted by someone who wanted a little girl or was barren of children,or as payback for bad drug dealings?I honestly don’t think haleigh is dead,if there was physical evidence at the scene or around the trailer i believe police would have found it early on.
Misty Croslin is a sweet girl who had a hard life. She is no killer, but she can’t be very smart. Why didn’t she leave Florida when she turned 18? Such a sad story. Twenty-five years for a few pills is a horrible injustice.
I think its a crime in itself that the cops set this girl up to sell pills, so they can get her for “something”. They had nothing on her with the little missing girl so they get her on drugs. 25 yrs is RIDICULOUS for selling a few pills that they set up to begin with.
There was a woman where I live that killed her mother, and she got 15 yrs for murder.
And casey anthony walks free after killing her own child. Yes, anyone with half a brain cell KNOWS she did it.
Free Misty Croslin and get her help instead of destroying this young girls life. Florida needs to change its stupid laws!
I know most of this family and they are all scumbags. They all lie and will never tell the truth if it hurts them. How do i know this because it is taught to a 8 yr old child. mistys nephew and tommys son. There father hank croslin sr and hank croslin jr himself teaches hate, lies, deception and then preaches the bible which they cant read. It is a generational curse that needs to be broken. The last time hank croslin sr took his grand kids for a week they came dirty (no bath for a week, didn’t brush their teeth for a week, dirty clothes on with clean unused clothes in their suitcases. One child had flea bites from the ankles to the stomach. So you be the judge of the parents and the children he raised. Misty is a product of her environment and parents and telling the complete truth is the only way to end this spectacle of lies and deception. There mother lisa is still a thief stealing from the curch people who support and house them. Is the money being spent on drugs? My point to allof this is TRUTH will never come out if they killed Haleigh or had anything to do with her disappearance.
Mel, thanks for the info. I figured that is how misty was raised so she didnt have a chance in life herself. I still feel really bad for her. She is a victim also.
