Most people knew that that cinder block might hold a key clue to what happened to Haleigh Cummings. Now WJXT is reporting that two cinder blocks have been pulled from the Saint Johns River in the search for Haleigh Cummings.
The police have announced that Haleigh is dead, and are searching the river for evidence. Multiple persons of interest identified.
Misty Croslin’s grandmother appeared on Nancy Grace saying that Timmy Croslin had called her from jail and said he was in the Cummings home with Misty and Joe Overstreet the night Haleigh went missing. The grandmother also said that Joe had went there to steal a gun and when Misty couldn’t find it he took Haleigh instead.
Apparently Misty confirmed this story fifteen minutes later in a similar conversation with her grandmother. Misty has reportedly said that Joe Overstreet had held a knife to her throat and told her he would kill her if she ever told and she was frightened.
Rumors are spreading that Joe killed Haleigh and tied cinder blocks to her body and threw her in a river near Misty’s parents former home.
This entire story is suspect because Misty has already named Joe over a year ago as someone that might be involved because “he has been a criminal all his life.”

Flora Hollars laid out multiple versions she says Misty and Tommy Croslin gave her about the night Haleigh vanished, all of them ending in the little girl’s brutal death. One of them, that a yellow rope was put around Haleigh’s body, a brick tied around the bottom of the other end of the rope and Haleigh thrown into the river.
After we see Misty Croslin on video in handcuffs standing on the dock of the Saint Johns river, investigators reveal Misty Croslin went to the river voluntarily. But what exactly did she tell police? We also learn she’s not the only one who was at the river with cops. Tommy Croslin’s attorney says he was the one who brought investigators to the St. Johns River in the first place, the same spot where unnamed sources say dive teams have been searching for a murder weapon.
We know cops have pulled “items” from the river for testing, but are Haleigh’s remains among them? And are multiple arrests about to go down.
This might very well be the way the crime went down but Misty’s justification that she was scared and didn’t tell is ridiculous. That defense only works to the point that Joe left the home. Was she to scared to tell when she being questioned by the police for countless hours? Did she believe Joe would burst into the police station at any minute and kill her? Would he break into jail where she is currently incarcerated on drug charges and kill her?
The “scared of Joe” defense is likely only a justification to absolve herself and her brother Timmy from any wrong doing in the murder of Haleigh Cummings. They all kept their mouths shut for the past 14 months because the were likely all involved in some way. IMO.

Jenny, I do want to believe that she didn’t have anything to do with this. I hate to think that anyone could have had something to do with a little girl dissapearing and being killed and thrown into the water. I do believe she was raised by a bunch of drug addicts and didn’t have a chance. The only thing that really gets me is this: Even if she was scared, she has been in jail for how long, protected non the less from any harm, in protective custody, and she never said one thing. She lied to everyone. IN and OUT of jail. If she truly loved that child and Ron, she would’ve put herself aside and told. No matter what, if you truly love an innocent child, you put yourself aside and do what’s right. She is “smart enough” to know that when things start to surface, and they will, that she will eventually look guilty if she didn’t come forward and tell the truth. And now look at her. Only God and the people responsible truly knows what happened. And I don’t quite believe that her grandmother flo is all that innocent. But even if you are related you still need to come to terms with the fact she is guilty of contributing to this childs death. She shouldn’t have been so selfish by keeping this to herself. She stood right beside that babies dad and watched him crumble with heartache, and stood there lying. How cold hearted is that. How would you feel if you were in his shoes? I wish they would let us know a little more about what is going on. It does seem to appear now that maybe Joe is the one that committed this crime, but if he was the one who took her, why would the authorities have Misty out at the lake? What a horrid story this is, but Misty, Ron and the rest of the players will undoubtedly remain in jail for a very long time. Call it God’s justice, or intemperance for taking the life of an innocent.

second; the reason I believe Misty played a part in Haleigh’s death is that she refuses to come clean. Remember when she was talking with her dad and she told him ‘help me first!’ (over Tommy) She wouldn’t sit in jail for anyone else but herself and because she is, it tells me the truth would make her situation worse.
and to ‘Jenny’ (if YOU’RE for real) if Tommy raped you or you knew of anyone he’d raped, you’d have told the police so justice would be served. I can’t see him having raped you as actually having happened, and then Haleigh going missing and you not going to the police. So I doubt you are who you say you are.

I can see someone not going to the police when raped, especially a child, but once Haleigh disappeared it makes not sense for a caring person to have not gone to the police with such relevant info. So I don’t think it happened and I don’t think you are who you say you are.

Nancy Grace Justice or Malicious Prosecution of Misty Croslin.
The recent arrest of Misty Croslin and Ron Cummings for allegedly selling Oxycontin pills to an undercover informer is the focus of the ongoing investigation of what happened to Haleigh Cummings.
There is already the video showing that Ron and Misty did in fact go along with the sting operation and sell Oxycontin to the undercover officer.
Because Ron’s sister was sitting next to Ron she is getting 15 years in prison. This isn’t justice, this is the Black Robe syndrome that a judge upon hearing that Ron’s sister said “kiss my ass,” that for those words she deserved 15 years in Prison.
They let guys out for rape and murder in less than 15 years.
Ron Cummings and Misty are facing 165 years for trying to make money from a sale that was set up by the undercover agents. This is not the kind of crime that warrants 165 years in jail. What about the real source of the Oxycontin, the doctors who gave them out?
Also there is the possibility that they came from the DEA or a Mexican drug cartel.
There was no attempt to go after these guys.
There have been so many versions of what happened that night. Misty’s story has always been that she was sleeping when somebody came in and took Haleigh. It is obvious that Ron didn’t have anythiong to do with it. Haleigh could not dispose of the body by herself if Haleigh died there.
Her brother Tommy who is the artichect of the version about uncle Joe taking the body out to the dock and if this was true, forensics on his van and proving if he drove the van to the dock would have proven it by now.
This story seems to have come to a standstill because they would have arrested Joe by now. The heresay that they found a cinder block with rope on it on the bottom of the river was never verified and no pictures of the rope and cinderblock have ever been shown on Nancy Grace’s show.
They did show a brand new clean cinder block with a clean yellow rope which had obviously not been under water for a year. It was a reporter not the police who said that they found a cinder block with a rope. She only heard this from somebody. Misty’s grandmother who is not in contact with the family was the one who said that Misty was on a three day drug binge, but Ron Cummings mother who was at the trailer that night said that Misty wasn’t high on drugs at all.
When Nancy Grace said that Misty said that she hid under a blanket while Joe and Tommy were raping Haliegh there was no recording or video of her saying that. Seeing that Misty was in jail and they recorded all her phone calls and monitored all her visits they would have a tape or video of this conversation.
Being given a lie detector test when the media police and everyone around you is giving you bad vibes could result in you failing it. Even one answer showing nervousness would result in failing the lie detector test.
The case against Misty is all on hearsay from her brother who has made up two other versions and seems like he is crazy and unbelievable. It also comes from her grandmother who has been estranged from the family and probably holds a grudge.
The claim that Haleigh was actually abducted by some unknown person is still a possibility. You know that if there were drugs in that trailer that they came from a drug dealer and drug dealers have a tendancy to do things like kidnap children to send to the sex slave market in Mexico.
Misty said: “Then why did that black guy say that some people had her and he was going to go back and get her.” This statement has not been looked into or has anyone tried to identify this black guy. Why?

Even in the earliest interviews she said, “l loved her like she was my own.” Misty said ‘loved” not ‘love’ as if the child has already died. In another interview she says Haleigh “was just a sweet little girl” instead of “is a just sweet little girl” Why does Misty continually speak of Haleigh as though she is already gone from this world? I know the real Misty and i used to hang out with her back in 2008 right before this all happened. She was my Friend and i doubt that Misty did anything like this. She is such a good person she really is and she was so good with kids she had her own nieces and she used to spend alot of time with my nephew.
