“It’s gonna hurt two people”
Six little words blended in to five but maybe the first crack in Misty’s armor. Such a simple sentence but an unbelievably explosive statement.
Newly released jailhouse tapes gives us some insight into what Misty Croslin, the last person to see 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings alive, knows about the night the little girl disappeared.
Misty Croslin is speaking to her sister-in-law Chelsea, she knows she is being recorded so she doesn’t say much. She is speaking of a bounty hunter who has offered to bail her out in exchange for information that will lead him to Haleigh.
Here is what she said:
Sister-in-law: So what, you have things you need to talk to him about?
Misty Croslin: Well yeah, I mean, it’s you know, hard to talk.
Sister-in-law: I know.
Misty Croslin: Yeah. But it’s gonna hurt two people. It’s gonna hurt two people.
Sister-in-law: That we care about?
Misty Croslin: Kinda. One, yeah. And the other, kinda.
Sister-in-law: That I care about?
Misty Croslin: Yeah.
Sister-in-law: Cause I know I don’t give a f**k about Ronald, excuse my language.
Misty Croslin: No, No. No it’s somebody. Yeah, no.
Sister-in-law: It’s not him?
Misty Croslin: No, you just think Chelsea, use your head. And you’ll know.
“just think Chelsea, use your head. And you’ll know.”
I believe Misty Croslin is protecting her brother Tommy Croslin. I have always thought it was pretty obvious that one of these “two people” is Ronald but this gives me some doubts. In the sting video they brought up Haleigh. They had no way of knowing they were being recorded and they spoke like they had no idea what happened to her. I have pretty much ruled out that they acted together at this point.
Tommy left the area immediatley after Haleigh went missing.

re paragraph 3–Misty was talking to Chelsea, Timmy’s wife, not Lindsy. She even calls her by name.
also, it was Timmy and Chelsea that moved to Mass., where she is from, not Tommy.

lets face it misty is typical uneducated southern trailer trash
scum…she has no brains, and thinks money, sex, drugs ,and
alcohol and partying rule the world…well she as scummy as she
is has a lot to learn, and the jail, federal will teach her and
her scummy family a lot…they all seem to be jail oriented.
if misty had any brains she would be dangerous, but she is
playing a sad game against smarter new york cops dressed as
florida cops and she will lose and with her constant lying will fry.
her game is about over, and they are getting to her miniscule
brain…it takes time when u have a bunch of losers in one jail
or area and they are all stupid with a low iq and lying together.
look at her ma, the robber, and alcoholic imagine she raise
misty, look at her dad always looking for handouts, very low
life and uneducated type of people…they wouldnt last two
days in new york city with their constant low life living and
lying…cops are too smart up here…shes playing a game that
at the end she must suffer for killing the beautiful little girl.

hell calling someone trailor trash is a horrible thing to call someone…alot of little kids are raised in low income trailors,dont call their parents trailor trash,im sure those little kids who have loving parents that live in a low in come trailor park would like people calling their parents trash…thats a awefull thing to call a childs parents..hey life is tuff,some people cant help but to live in a trailor,and to put up with bullshit name calling who needs it..I hear alot of people calling Ronald trailor trash,hey”thats little heleighs father.the kids are innocent..dont bash their parents and if misty is a child killer let the law punish her,its not up to anybody but the families and the legal system,ya dont like the legal system,go to school,become a lawyer and make some changes,im ashamed of your name callers and i like to think im alot better than you nay sayers..

I really don’t think Misty killed this little girl, Haliegh. Everytime I see her she just looks sad and confused, her story may really be true.. If she was high on oxycoton, she could have easily fell out and someone could have taken the little the girl without her even noticing. I am thinking it is her brother Tommy, or maybe one of Ronald’s friends or drug associates. I just have a hunch that this girl, Misty, is such a neglected and hurt little girl that turned to drugs to ease her struggles and got caught up with the wrong people and involved in a horrible situation. I mean is there any evidence that she abused Haliegh or did not want her around? Wasn’t there a little boy that lived there, as well?
