I believe that Misty and/or Ronald owed a drug debt. Someone offered the gun as a payment. When the gun could not be produced, Haleigh was used for collateral. Misty knows it, because she was there. Ronald may not have been there when it happened, but he certainly knows everything. They made up the abduction story to avoid drug and possibly murder charges.

I have been following this story since it started, and I have read everything I could find that related to it. The only reason, I think, that Misty doesn’t want to tell what happened is because she doesn’t know what happened. I don’t think she was there, so where was she? Ronald is locked up, so whoever she was with her should stop being afraid and come forward and tell the truth. Misty doesn’t want her family or Ronald’s family to know that she left the children alone. Poor Haleigh, she should of been with her mother where she belonged and she wouldn’t be missing today. I have only one comment. They ALL seem rather stupid and alittle pathetic. They can’t seem to put a sentence together without nasty language. It’s NO telling what they did with that precious little girl and I surely don’t agree with Nancy Grace about Ronald. I think he knows alot more than he is saying. Drug heads will do whatever it takes to get their hands on more drugs, even kill their on family members. They could have even more or less sold that baby for drugs, God forbid. It’s no telling what kind of torture that baby went through. Their is a special place in HELL for people like them and like I said, they all seem really stupid, so I doubt they have enough sense to even repent, so they are all Hell bound. Alot of stuff happens in prisons, the guards just look the other way and I believe they’ll suffer quite abit when they get into a general population of a prison.

She is not smart. She is scared….
Ron Will Kill Her and she knows it if anything happened to the babay while Misty was on the watch.

I would say she sold her. I mean really she just came off a 3 Day Drug Fest with her other Sleeping partner. And these kind of people will do anything for more drugs or money for drugs.

I am shocked. To be honest I didn’t think Misty seemed smart enough to cover up Haleighs death. Apparently I was wrong. I think that Misty was involved, if not committing the crime and I think Ronald knows more then he was saying also. That sweet little girl- what a life she must have lead. May she rest in peace.
